Description

1. Sailor moon, I started to draw because I loved sailor moon and beacuase my baby sitter was really good drawing her, so I wanted to became just like her!
I loved sailor moon, expecially Usagi in her Princess Serenity dress and I was madly in love with Seiya form the last season of the show.

2. Hiroyuki Utatane. His comics are mostly hentai, but I love his soft and elegant style!I read his comics "Lythis" when i was 14 and I felt in love with his style and coloring.

3. Satoshi Shiki. His comics "Riot" was a huge influence in my style when I was 15, I loved that comics, it was a strange and original manga.

4. Food and being constanly on diet. I love food, I love watching and eating it, for my strange relationship with it, it's and important part in my art and in my life.

5. Bastard!!. I loved this comics a lot when I was younger, expecially from the 14-15 th volume to the 22 (the last numbers sadly were a total garbage) were a great inspiration for me and my style, and a sort of little "comics school" for me.

6. Whutering Heights and 19th century books. This is one of my favourite books of all times, I love it, it is so intense, deep and really original... amazing!i love Heathcliff character, he is so human and fascinationg! I love Little Women and Pride and Prejudice from that century too.

7. Sun College. I love this anime and manga, it's so simple but beautiful and funny, the characters are so cute and lovely! this is one of my favourite anime and Elle will be always a dear dear character to me!

8. 70s shojo manga. My fvourite mangaka are: Suzue Miuchi, Macoto, Moto Hagio, Keiko Takemiya, Riyoko Ikeda and Yumiko Higarashi. I really like and admire the manga of those ages, I think that they are really original, different from a lot empty and sensless shojo manga of those years. Styles were so classy and I really like the use of inks in the 70s mangas.

9. Clockwork Orange, Dystopian novel and movies. When I read "A Clockwork Orange" I felt in love with this genre of books and movies, I think that they are really fascinating and inspiring of course

10. Contemporary Japanese Literature. After a beautiful univeristy exam, I started to like this literature a lot. I really like Oe and Mishima's books, and how they are deep and special.

11. Marilyn Monroe and 50-60s movies. When I feel sad I always want to see Marilyn Monroe or other old movies, I like the women in those ages, they were so beautiful and particular.

12. Childhood toys. When I was little I loved My little pony, care bears, I thought that barbie was super fashion and beautiful but she scared me in some ways...!

13. Make up. I think that make up is really fascinating and beautiful!I love buying cometics and I love how thay looks, expecially lipsticks.

14. Katsuya Terada. I love his coloring style and his beautiful women, He was a huge influence in my style!

15. Junko Mizuno. She is simply amazing.

But to be honest, the best influence of those ages was and is my boyfriend. it may seem cheesy, but he is a great musician and a beautiful person, he helped me to become a more original and to start to draw what I really like and not what the other people likes. His influence is really big and he still supports me and help me to become more original and to become a better person and artist. So if today I'm starting to like my works is thanks to Daniele.

Sorry for my baaad english
